Comprehensive travel advice is offered to all  Nuffield House patients. You will need to book a travel  appointment ,as advice cannot be given over the phone.

Travel Advice appointments must be booked with the Practice Nurse, ideally at least six weeks before the date of travel, more if possible.

These appointments are 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes per additional traveller. When booking the appointment you should let the receptionist know which country you are planning to visit.

Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccinations are free on the NHS but some are not i.e, Hepatitis B, Japanese Encephalitis and Rabies. Not all of these vaccines are in kept in stock and will incur an administration charge of £15, along with the cost of the vaccine and delivery charge. 

There is also a £15 charge for a private prescription for malaria tablets.
