Nuffield House Surgery is open Monday to  Friday 8:00 to 6:30  Outside of these surgery hours medical cover is provided by P.E.L.C.  on 0845 070 1611  

TThe telephone is manned from 8.00am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.

Outside of these times you can access medical advice and assistance in the following ways:

NHSDirect - a 24 hour nurse led organisation which can provide medical advice and assistance by telephoning 0845 4647

Urgent Care Centre - from 4th December 2010 the Walk in Centre will be replaced by a new Urgent Care Centre along side the Emergency Department on Princess Alexander Hospital site.

There will be a single point of access for patients at the Emergency Department main entrance where the primary care team will meet the patient/carer. Patients will be triaged on arrival by a Community Nurse and either diverted back into the community, treated at the Urgent Care Centre, or if they are giving cause for serious concern, taken through to the Emergency Department.
